Be fair and considerate simultaneously
Allocate time for research on a regular basis
Optimistic about myself
(Tell the truth, so that they know you are good if your true answer is yes)
Yes, because your institution matches me in terms of ....
(Don't say critical weaknesses that will kill your application. Say
something that you can improve)

发帖数: 1422 | 6 not asking any question makes you look indifferent, asking the key question
(how much paper+ funding can ensure you to get tenure) is not proper in
phone interview. ask 1-2 questions below may be fine
a. if the campus/university has funding opportunity for new faculty
b. how the department recruit graduate students
c. how is the local K-12 education for kid
d. can you use funding to buy-out courses?
f. how many graduate students the department currently have (not the best
question, but I like to know )
