same thing with job application. one of my friends applied to a position in
a big school for three years. now he is happily there after two rejections.
he is going up for tenure soon. |

room for two years, but the faculty did not realize who was the same person
from last year until after the seminar. The search committee was different
and they picked the same person. But, of course, that guy did not get the
offer. |
