ibutions matter for club membership, but other things count as well, if not
more.
even low-ranking journals have their clubs... their editors do not do good r
esearch, but they are still club leaders
it is rel easier to get a board title. just publish a lot to be "niu," and d
o some basic socializing. good luck.

发帖数: 651 | 4 I think you should try to be an associate editor first. It helps if you are
at least an associate fellow of some professional societies. Being a memeber
of many professional societies does not count much.
If you are exceptional at networking maybe you can skip the general rule.

worth a try...it is a good experience for a researcher in his early career.
