Several days ago I received a letter from a debt collector requesting me
to make payment within 30 days. It really annoyed me. Can't they send me a
reminder or anything before using a debt collector?
In comparison, almost all other publishers have two free exam books for
faculty every year.
I know from now on I won't use Springer's textbooks in my classes if there

MacMillian也差不多有这样的情况。
然后一个是Routledge，你跟他request,他也不寄。
Cambridge算是最友好的吧，每次要一本书，他能跟你寄两个copy。
Oxford也不错
Pearson
South-western
McGraw_hill都不错。
更好玩的是worth, 跟他要一本书，他能给你寄整个一个系列的书过来，
包括CD-rom, study guide,instructor's manual。
而且不是一次性寄过来，而是分成好几波。结果我每周都收到worth的package... | a**********e

I just feel Springer is not only stingy but also disrespectful. The way
they do business shows they have no appreciation for academia, one of
their biggest customer.
