"XXX University has a policy of not sponsoring Visas for foreign faculty
except in extraordinary circumstances. We are trying to build that case for
you. However, if a candidate comes along that is a citizen they
automatically take priority over any non-citizen."
XXX是一个比较大的学校系统，我申请其中的一个分校。这个学校认可我的能力，如果
我是美国公民，可能早就确定下来了，可惜我只是F1身份。咨询一下大家遇到过这种情
况吗？学校是不是还要等一段时间看是否还有适合的美国公民申请，一般需要等多长时
间？最后有多大的机会拿到offer? |

first foreign professor they hire? Ask them if you can hire a lawyer to do
h1b for you. |
