s*****g 发帖数: 28 | 1 I am asked to serve as the chair of a search committee for a non-tenure
track position. The thing I found out today is that I have to include at one
woman and one minority faculty members in the committee. A funny policy,
per se.
As such, for those who are in the job market, you can roughly get an idea of
who might be in your search committee: those female and minority faculty
members are very likely will interview you.
Best wishes to all the ppl looking for a faculty job. | b*****d 发帖数: 61690 | | d***a 发帖数: 13752 | 3 No need to over generalize it. I was on search committee twice and there was
no such requirement on the committee. We do have a policy to make the
selection process fair to female and minority candidates, though. |
