Job Summary:
PM Trading Core is responsible for build strategic trading platform for
our business. Complete solution includes Order Management System,
Trading & Execution, Trade Flow, and cross business control framework.
We partner with front office teams to deliver portfolio managers and
traders a robust, scalable, testable, extensible platform for managing
client assets. We are looking for a software developer or senior
software developer to join our team. The software developer will
participate in full software development life cycle to build strategic
solutions for the division. Candidate will have opportunity to work on
elite proprietary risk and pricing platform. Ideal candidate should be
highly motivated and be able to work independently with teams across the
division to drive and deliver strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
• Application Development: This is the primary activity would require
working on one or more projects through the product life cycle.
• Testing: We follow Test Driven based development guide line to
perform unit, regression, integration, and load testing.
• Design & Documentation: Working as team to complete the Functional
and Technical requirements
• Production Support: As a part of team rotation, perform production
support for trading business
Basic Qualifications
• JAVA or C#/.NET: 2+ years (6+ years for senior)
• OO design / programming experience
• Databases/SQL working knowledge
• Unix/Linux, Perl, Shell scripting: working knowledge
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, comfortable working in global, multi-
site team which welcomes and challenges new ideas
• Hands-on, demonstrates taking ownership of issues to ensure
successful conclusion
• Experience of partnering clients to deliver impactful solutions to
the business
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience of Test-Driven Development and automated testing tools
