if you don't, then apply swiss tourist visa(not switzerland is not part of
Schengen) so you have to apply swiss visa. My work visa took 1 month. I
would assume your type won't take that long.

瑞士在去年就加入了Schengen,只是因为欧洲杯足球赛才延迟实行。
去年12月14号开始,瑞士正式开放边境。

No visa is required for foreigners who have a valid U.S. green card (
Permanent Resident Card, form I-551) and a valid national passport for
tourism, visits, business or medical treatment for a stay up to 90 days. The
passport must be valid at least 3 months after leaving Swiss territory.
Please note that the passport stamp "processed for I-551" is not considered
a green card and that general visa requirements would apply in that case.

This is NO LONGER the case since Switzerland started to accept Schengen Visa.
This is logical b/c there is no more border control btwn Swiss and the
neighboring EU countries and thus Switzerland cannot simply allow US green
card holders to enter w/o a visa! You should check the offical rules and not
the old rules from other websites.
