n****n 发帖数: 492 | 1 today during my subway ride, i read an interesting article, about
why US can rule the next century after being the dominant superpower
of this century.
kosovo brought it brutally home that the US has an unchallengeable
political and military domination. not many people in america can
point out where kosovo is, and it is obviously an european problem,
yet europe is incapable of sorting out its own problem.
yet the secret of the US stranglehold over the next century is its

Other side of this truth is that America is the most vulnerable
techno-dominated country. America depends soo much on computers
and networks that nobody knows exactly what will happen during some
invisible "cyber war" time.
Technology and science act as double-edged sword, when you possess the
most beneficial advantages of it, you will have to admit the most
disatrous or vulnerable defects at the same time.
