提供带宽

发帖数: 117 | 10 难怪，我说core router上怎么这个feature比较被淡化，也没有花很多精力去优化
implementation的策略。
反而是把switch/edge router做一个box里的，比较强调这个，强调最优。

end -- b/t STB and ISP head end. Even though DSL does not support multicast
by nature, IGMP can still be used to support channel selection, etc.
As to the core, Cisco is probably the only one with mature multicast routing
/switching support. So that would require a total Cisco house, which I do
not think will happen. And in practice video content demands vicinity. That
means the same content will be distributed to multiple
