another possible cause is the MTU issue. reduce the MTU to be around 1400-
1480 to see if there is any improvement.

have you clone your PC's mac address on the router's WAN interface.
AT&T, comcast used to do mac filtering and they used your PC's MAC address
to grant DHCP access. 814 should be able to do this MAC cloning too. check
the manual or admin pages bah. good luck.
