We are pleased to inform you that the New York City Department of Education
(DOE) will hold a teacher recruitment event at City College on Monday, April
23, 2012, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. There are many openings in the upcoming
school year, with even more expected in the future, for bilingual teachers
in all subject areas and grade levels.
If you hold a Bilingual Extension, or if you are yourself bilingual, we hope
you can attend this meeting. Information will be provided on the following
topics:
* The role of bilingual teachers
* The job market for bilingual teachers in NYC schools
* How to find bilingual jobs
* How to complete the Bilingual Extension if you do not already hold one
* Opportunities to finance the Bilingual Extension
We will have time for a general Q&A, as well as various experts to answer
different types of questions.

一般你得有一个content的 certification 然后在可以做 extension。
中文执照是 单独的一个执照
extinction 可以理解我不是执照，是在你已经有的执照上的附加品
每个州的要求不同 看你们州自己的要求，而且纽约州的是不承认外州的program的！
