m going to talk to the employer (contractor for head start?) on Monday. The
first thing I need to find out is: AM I Subject to CAP or not if I apply for
H1-B? I know that Head Start program is a federal program and I'm hoping it
would be different from other k-12 schools. Does anyone have any experience
with Head Start Program? Thanks a lot. |

Institution that receives the grand and manages the money is a govenment
agency, the intitution will contract with qualified educational entity that
would provide concrete educational services. The entity is not a government
agency. Most government agencies do not consider non-residents, in federal
level governments only citizens are eligible for the positions.

eligible. By the way federal programs have great benefits and lower stress
levels. Great job for lazy American teachers. |

"The Head Start program provides grants to local public and private non-
profit and for-profit agencies to provide comprehensive child development
services to economically disadvantaged children and families"
In terms of subject to cap or not, I receive various answers from different

发帖数: 223 | 7 I was actually confused after reading that whole paragraphs, so I asked an
attorney about how an affiliation with a college or university is
established, and here's the answer:
"If the school is a non-profit affiliated or related to a university or
college, then your H-1B petition may not be subject to the H-1B cap.
Generally, in this situation, the required affiliation is established if the
school as an internship or student teaching program with a local university
or college. " |
