I can write something (e.g. critiques about the readings) for the writing
samples required in application (applying to MAT in special ed.) Does anyone
have recommendations as to what would be good readings for such purpose? Or
, anyone suggestions about what I can write for the writing samples are
welcome.
Thanks. |

your interested topics. Autism? Emotional Disturbance? Reading disorder?
Inclusion? Disciplining students with disabilities? You name it.
You could start with articles related to IDEA 2004 reauthorization or NCLB. |

I used to work as a RA in a "developmental neuropsychology lab", studying
kids with autism. I've only read a few papers about the possible biological
cause for autism, but never read anything regarding to the education side
yet.
So far the schools I've looked into all require writing samples (maybe
because it's MAT rather than MED program). I think they just want to see
that you can present your ideas in a logical way on paper. I |
