，做宏观的往往要去Fed Reserve的网站下载数据，我不知道corporate finance有没有
类似的数据，不论是官方的还是某个学校或教授自己攒的（然后放在自己主页上）。数
据内容包括比如CEO的薪水、公司的资本结构、信用评分rating等，总之是很常见的变
量。望高人指点。 |

里面说绝大多数paper都是用compustat。corp fin主要还是做北美，因此就是
compustat NA。
我手里有compustat Research Insight的程序加数据库，不知道可不可以回去卖钱？？

数据，而我想找ownership的数据却怎么也没有，online Manual里明明有 insider
trade和 institution ownership的数据说明，可是在compustat里怎么也找不到，我仔
细看了“quarterly update”“annual update”和“other products”怎么也找不到
产权的数据。
另外，董事会组成的数据一般要到哪里去找？ |

如果我没记错，叫SHROWN_TOT，还有另一个是option excluded的，自己仔细找吧。

and you can also sweet talk exchanges into giving you data on trade
executions - that would be massive amount of data.
however, data on non-public traded securities are very hard to come by and
expensive to compile. |
