product differentions are on both the horizional and vertical line, and demand
correlation across markets can be derived analytically instead of assumd a
priori or derived empirically. does any one have interest in this stuff? and is
this done by some others already?

yes, verticall differentiation papers(in terms of quality difference within a
market) are mostly analytical, but demand correlation across market are
empirical. i am talking about vertical diffeitiation across markets (kind of
both substituability and complementarity) and horizional differentiation
within markets. |
