Another offer comes from Nokia, it is also RF design engineer, but in mobile
end, located in San Diego, salary 70k.
Both the company is not stable I think, nokia getting screw from apple, NSN
maybe buyout by other investors.

65k in dallas is much more better than 70k in San Diego,.
1. TX has no income tax, but CA is about 9%, so 65k>70k
2. Apartment rent: one bed one bath about 700 or less in dallas and over 850
in san San Diego.
stability is out of your consideration right now if you don have any other offers, just grab the job before the double dip kicks in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My LD used to work at the DAL site, lots of org changes everyday.

If we assume Nokia won't do well in phone, then the spending in RFIC R&D will be dropping? How about its position in BS?

brcm later after you've gained a few years experience. On a similar
thought, Dallas has TI, and what are the other companies there?

了，Dallas area会比SD生活开支小。尽管Irving也不便宜，不过应该还是比SD好的多
。如果你是硕士毕业没工作经验，这个offer已经不错了。Dallas area可以跳槽的公司
还挺多，Huawei，ZTE, Erricson，TI, RIM，Samsung, etc. 有了几年工作经验，以后
机会多多。
在工业界混，永远是不稳定的。你是个打工者，不用去理会股东或CEO关心的事。
