偶正在为10FALL选校。因为有学长在NCSU,所以去那里的EE希望还是很大滴。就请
各位告之下NCSU的EE读完PHD之后出路怎么样吧？我是想去工作而不是科研的。。。但
是MASTER的奖有点难搞，就读个PHD了。。。。
那里貌似有个三角区，好像IBM也在附近。就想知道下毕业后的去向如何。还有就是
NCSU的EE和DUKE的EE比较起来如何？前者有排名没牌子，后者正好相反。。。

的吧，哈哈
所以试试DUKE吧。
NCSU这个学校根本就没怎么听说过，不要留在那个鸟不XX的地方了

顺便告诉你,NCSU坐落在NC的首府,Chap Hill离那里也大概30分钟路程.并不是什么鸟不
拉屎的地方.你孤陋寡闻不要紧,但是出来乱说就不好了吧.
NCSU在EE方面绝对是美国Top20~30的水平,虽然名气没有Duke和UNC响亮,但在EE的整体
实力上凌驾于这两个学校之上.国内还没几个人知道洛克菲勒大学,加州大学旧金山分校
呢,你敢说这两个地方不好?
多说一句,你IP在NC却对NCSU一无所知?呵呵,看样子是个NCSU黑

我认识的 NCSU EE PHD 还没有毕业找不到工作的
而且工作都还不错
DUKE 比较好的是找工作换行容易，因为牌子响。

go to a graduate school, get your PhD done in next 2 years when the market
is bouncing back, and you can find a job with ease regardless what
university you graduate.
When you are at work force, how to climb from engineer to manager mainly
depends on your personality, your shipment with manager and luck...
who cares where you graduate....

stimulus funding feed many guys well
i know couples of EE professors each recruit at least 5 phds this year
there are always poor professors and rich ones regardless of school
and it is easiler to find jobs in CA

100k( if you can go to leading high tech companies,e.g. IBM research, AMAT.. small/medium/start up pay less )
then you have to pay more than 30% to taxes, 401(k), insurance....
and anything you buy is with 10% tax
and the standard two bedroom apartment cost 2500-3000 per month....
and they work very very hard....till 9pm is very usual, weekend overtime is
very usual(of course, as full employee,there is no overtime pay ch

pm (as my company).
While in silicon valley, so many Asian there... they just work all days long
... and off at 9pm really sucks since it leaves you little private time at

it typically means make your work done regardless nights, weekends, holidays
