真心请教光学里那个方向好找工作啊？

before, at least we have the semiconductor, it needs a lot of optical
metrology stuff. now semiconductor is going down
so the only ones left are bio-photonics, laser, and defense
bio-photonics is like everything in bio, one word: shitty: long working hour
, thouthand year postodog, and low salary, it can support h1-B though
laser needs green card because of ITAR (international trade control etc)
defense needs citizen plus security clearance, tough to

发帖数: 8211 | 4 I might be wrong, but it seems to me that even if semiconductor is not going
down it will still generate fewer and fewer optics jobs. The reason is
that with the increasing smaller die feature size, the way of making die is
moving away from optical methods, i.e., using lights. Wavelength is fixed,
and once the feature size is too small, no light spectrum will be suitable
for manufacturing. So, I would say eventually optics jobs will almost die
out in silicon industry.

visa. I hope you are not doing those.

I am trying to find a better solution, such as design.
I have some experiences in integrated optics and silicon fabrications but
semiconductor is gowing down now like you said. |

just check those companies specilizing in optical design for CPV
yes,they are bloody start-up
they may be fucking doomed in next year or two
but right now, you can secure a job and your H1B
