之后，才能出台Final Rule。估计在2019年初，才有可能正式取消H4 EAD。有需要申请
H4 EAD和延期的，要抓紧时间想办法了。

停止。听起来太吓人了，我的明年九月过期，本来想着到那个时候485肯定交了，现在
觉得有点危险。

但是final rule出来之前谁也不知道。 |

H-4 workers could incur when their employees’ EADs are terminated. Some U.
S. workers would benefit from this proposed rule by having a better chance
at obtaining jobs that some of the population of the H-4 workers currently
hold, as the proposed rule would no longer allow H-4 workers to enter the
labor market early.
原文里提到了terminated，而不是expired。貌似有可能直接终止？

要不是怎么着 USCIS还一个一个退申请费？把那些有H4EAD正在工作的人从大公司马上

发帖数: 1 | 12 这个“certain”字眼嘛，本来就不是所有的H4 spouse可以申请EAD的。需要H1B另一半
的140 approve了才行。
The H4 visa based EAD is available only to spouses of H-1 visa holders who
fall into one of following two categories:
H-1B spouse must be the beneficiary of an approved I-140, petition for
immigrant worker. ...
H-1B spouse must have extended H1B status beyond the initial 6 years under
AC-21 rule in one year increments.

Not all H-4s are eligible for H-4 EAD. The "certain H-4 spouses" refer to
H-1B with an approved 140, which cover all current H-4 EAD holders.

t believe USCIS will do it.
