Options of Filing I-693 Medical Report for I-485 Filing
According to the Nebraska Service Center, I-485 applicant may submit the I-
693 in one of the three ways:(1) File concurrently with the I-485(2) Do not
file it concurrently with I-485 and wait for RFE and file I-693 in response
to such RFE.BEWARE,if one waits to submit the I-693 until an RFE is
issued, there is no guarantee that a visa will be available once the RFE
response has been received;(3) Submit the I-693 in person at an interview at
a USCIS field office if interview is required. This option should not be
taken for employment-based I-485 applications or interview-waiver I-485
proceedings, since one does not know whether his/her I-485 will be
transferrred to the field offices for interview.Therefore, even if somewhat
more expense and waste of money, I-485 may file the I-485 applications
together with the sealed envelope of I-693 medical report, considering the
fact that other options involves some potential risks when Visa Bulletin
movement is unpredictable. | A******S
