F**********3 发帖数: 319 | 1 My EB2 just got approved (June 2010, TSC). Do I have to wait for 180 days
before changing job? I didn't use AC21.
I didn't find any related threads on this board. On internet most people say
you should wait 180 days to avoid potential problems with naturalization,
but I also heard that you are free to move after I485 approval.
Thanks. |

Personally, I found the following logic which sounds quite reasonable:
1. Employment-based green cards generally are based on a future job offer
concept.
2. The employer offers a "permanent" position that is set to begin upon
approval of the green card.
3. Similarly, the beneficiary promises to accept that position upon approval
of the green card.
4. Thus, such individuals are expected to follow through, working in their
sponsored positions for a reasonable duration once they receive green card
approval.

intent?
intent。
