新的雇主不办绿卡，自己觉得还不够资格申请niw，想先弄点文章。
现在新雇主international office的人说从没碰到过我这样的情况，她不肯定我能
renew h1b beyond six year limit when the PD is current,并且说即使别的律师说
我可以renew，但只要她问的律师说不行，我就不能renew h1b.我问过几个律师，都说
是可以renew by one-year if pd is current.
怎么办？为什么即使别的律师说行，只要她问的律师说不行就不行？这种情况我有什么
办法吗？
在一所牛哄哄的大学,international office的人都把我们这些去找他们的人treat 成

H-1B?
Your employer has clearly made a mistake. But I am not sure what is wrong
exactly.
Many people transfer to new employers after I-140 is approved and beyond 6
year limit. But usually the new employer initiates the new PERM process.
How soon can you file your NIW I-140 application? |

我觉得明年下半年应该差不多可以申请niw了。
主要我夏天就要maternaty leave 了，暂时也没有精力去申请niw。
问过好多人，包括两位律师，都认为我的情况是可以renew h1b的。可是如果学校
international office的人霸道，再加上缺少knowledge 的律师，难道我要举证去证明
他们是错的吗？
如果举证的话，又是耗一堆时间和精力,孩子几个月就要出生了。想起来还是有点
frustrated.
还有如果举证的话，又怎么着手呢？网上有什么好的资料吗？

For example, if you start today, you are looking at around September.
If you wait until next summer and your new employer doesn't sponsor your
PERM, I assume that you have another way to obtain your green card.
You will need to persuade your employer to renew your H-1B, this is the most
frustrating part. If you can find a way to communicate with your employer's
attorney, it can work.
It looks like you can not persuade your employer by yourself. It has to be
your employer's attorney.
However, your situation is not as bad as you think. Usually if the employer
lacks the knowledge or plays politics, it can take years to get everything
back on track with a bit of luck. |

然后他们就都怂了，反正我的case就是，很多人根本搞不清楚身份对我们移民的重要
