485 receipt states “Employment Based 2nd.” Do I need to do anything?
My lawyer used to say:
Yes, but we submitted the EB-3 I-140 (or else USCIS would not have even
accepted the I-485 filing). USCIS will not issue corrected receipt notices,
but you/we can monitor EB-3 availability. Since EB-3 is retrogressing, we
can monitor the green card numbers and once EB-3 becomes current again, we
can request USCIS to adjudicate the I-485 Application.
But how to request USCIS to adjudiate? |

-Submitted a service request based on severe financial loss yesterday, was
told that I would receive a response within FIVE days. Not sure five
business days or calendar days.
-Faxed a letter (using the template on mitbbs) AND a signed privacy form to
my Congressman yesterday and the liasion emailed me today
to ask for my I-765 and quickly said they will put a Congressional Inquiry
for me today.

USCIS already has your petition queued for adjudication as your priority
date becomes current. We will let USCIS know that your priority date is
current, but this will not typically result in faster adjudication.
Additionally, we will let USCIS know that the wrong category was listed but
they typically do not take action based on these notes (the officer usually
addresses these issues through a request for evidence if needed). We will
keep you posted.

contact TSC directly and gave me the email address.
Email TSC directly and was asked about the SRMT number which I have never
got. |
