If a “small group” of House Republicans insist on pushing their version of
the bill, he said, that could end in a “stalemate” on the issue.
Goodlatte said the bill could potentially include a “pathway to
legalization,” and differentiated that from a “pathway to citizenship.”
“When you use the word ‘pathway to legalization’ I would say yes … not a
special pathway to citizenship,” he said. |
