employer must be able to state you have the 3 yrs of experience in XXXX (我
工作的具体内容）when the time comes.”
时间跨度是没有问题， 但是我担心的是之前的公司忽然最多就是证明我在那里工作了3
年，根本不会去证明具体做什么，就是engineer而已。具体的工作内容是无法从title
中看出来的。这样的话，我还能用上这3年的经验么？
我到是可以找以前manager (retired already)写个证明， 但这只是personal的 不能
算公司的（以前公司的规定）。 这样的证明有用么？
请过来人多多指点， 多谢！！！ |

发帖数: 204 | 3 Your former company should be able to write more than just your title. The
HR can write something according to the position you hired. There is job
description when you are hired.Contact your former boss maybe is also useful
and let her/him to contact HR.
You DO need x year's experience in Y field, which should match the job
description for your GC position and the experience must from your previous
company.
If it is small company, even you can draft the so-called 'Experience Letter'
yourself.
My former company's HR write something very good for me. Also I drafted one
letter for a small company.
If you really cannot get an adquate 'Experience Letter' from your former
exployer, a personal (from your former boss, colleage) letter will work too.
My attorney said this to me too at that time.

careful with your thing. Ask/research when not clear/confused. Good luck.
