from the Latin docere, meaning "to teach." 至少JD读完了在美国就可以去法学院
当教授了。

In today's standard JSD is almost required unless you graduated from HYS.
And by definition JSD is the Ph.D degree of law.JD is only professional
training in law.

中国直接有本科级的法学医学科目，所以有人从中沾光。不过不能

lever degree in law is LLM. So Bachelor(JD), Master(LLM), Ph.D(JSD) is the

原因就在于法学，医学在美国是研究生教育，没有什么本科生。如果想要上，得要
别处拿个本科学位先。第一个法学/医学学位自然就是研究生学位。而中国

其实主要区别是JD是professional degree, SJD/JSD是research degree，俩不一样的
track。
