收到一封信说 no appointment available to me. 快4个月了， 怎么会没

我朋友去打指纹说根本没人等。这种情况下可以硬闯打指纹吗？ |

发帖数: 207 | 8 I am assuming he has a FP notice because he said : "收到一封信说 no appointment available to me". The letter should have his receipt number, RD and A number and these are what they need.
Of course, without that, then they won't let him in.
I just walked in ahead of my scheduled time, no problem at all.
The bottom line is: it does not hurt to try. No one will arrest you for asking, right?

You are right. My letter shows everything: receipt number, RD and A number,
except it mentions there's no availability for appointment. I think I can
use this letter to try to walkin.

I think you should definitely try because with your RD back in Nov 2011, I
can't believe there is no FP request generated by USCIS. If you go there and
find out that there is no such a request from USCIS, then you should do a
SR.
Having no available appointment is not USCIS's fault, but if they still
haven't generated a FP request for you after 4 months, then you need to
request an investigation.

been generated.
You really got the point. I just wonder if I should try myself first or just
bring all my family there to try the walkin.

have everyone's notice and ID.
I guess is you'll all be able to do it through walk-in. Update here if you
do succeed.

发帖数: 191 | 15 I walked in to local ASC office yesterday noon and got my FP notice there.
Luckily they told me I can come back at 3:00pm then I bring all my family to
the ASC office at 3:00pm, by searching the 485 receipt number they also
issued the FP notice for my wife and we had the FP done immediately. |
