No movement today at all - in fact the Seante had a lot of Special order
floor speeches but not a single recorded vote. Mr.Grassley is unlikely to
release his hold till all the other business is completed to avoid this as
being a legislative rider.I would love to be surprised but Congress is
most likely going to skip town once the Payroll tax extension/unemployment
benefits packages are passed through both Chambers.If this happens we will
have to wait till atleast mid-February for any serious movement.There is
an executive business meeting scheduled tomorrow for the Senate Judiciary
Committee but neither H.R.3012 or S.1857 is on the agenda.
We will have to wait and see!
