Dear Senator Hagan,
Thank you very much for the reply. I understand that US needs a
comprehensive immigration reform, however a small step toward a fairer and
more sensible employment based system is still a progress. I believe US
companies should be able to hire the best people they can find regardless of
the candidate's country of origin, gender or anything else. Additionally,
these highly skilled immigrants don't really compete with unemployed
Americans and on the contrary, they create jobs. In my personal case, I
work for a medical device startup and I work very hard everyday to advance
the technology so that we can hire more people, sell products overseas and
reduce the healthcare costs here in US. I believe I am doing important
contributions to this great country I chose to come to and I also believe I
deserve a fair treatment by the legal immigration system. I really hope you
will consider voting for the bill.

we need to find some talk points like US companies should be able to hire
the best people regardless of candidates' country of origin and be
competitive.

we need to make it such that if they vote no, they are anti-business and
they do not want to create jobs!!!

Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act. Your opinion is very important to
me, and I appreciate the opportunity to respond to you on this critical
issue.
You will be pleased to know that I support legislation that eliminates the
per country limits for employment-based green cards and increases the per
country limit on family visas from 7 to 15 percent. This provision was
included within my Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2011. My
legislation also ensures that unused visa numbers in a given year will "roll
over" to the next fiscal year; recaptures unused visas; and includes STEM
reforms that exempt individuals in the science, technology and engineering
fields from the limits.
We must look to enact practical, smart, and substantial immigration reform
that reflects current economic and social realities, respects the core
values of family unity and fundamental fairness, and upholds our tradition
as a nation of immigrants. Please rest assured that I will keep your views
