本来一直在等绿卡， 已经拿到140， PD是2009年中段。 现在EB2绿卡好消息一个接一
个。12月的PD已经到2008年3月。
最近刚好拿到一个心仪的offer，如跳槽的话， 公司答应半年后重新开始办绿卡。工作
性质变动不大，PD倒是可能可以port过去。 但现在听说Perm 和 140 办得很慢。 所以
有疑虑。
我的情况是不是该跳？

Of course you should do it. A good job offer is more important than GC. You
will get your GC in your new place. I don't think you can submit 485 before
summer 2012. You should have plenty time to get perm approved bfore your PD
is current. You may submit your 140 and 485 at the same time then.

my PD is 06/01/2009. Say if, by the time I can file I140 with new company,
the EB2C already moves to 08/01/2009, then I can't file 140 and 485 together
, and I have to file I140 and then I485.
Do I understand correctly?
18 months is really a long time, but with current pace, I expect get to file
485 around end of next year. So it is about 6 months more waiting time.

The question is, do you have the intention to work for your old employer? Do
they have a job offer for you when you have the green card? If answer is
yes for both questions, you are perfectly fine. If not, then filing 485
without good intentions can be an act of fraud.

窗口是指像现在这样的排期前进期，因为O说未来几个月有可能后退。如果到时候后退
了，这个月CURRENT却没法交485的就错过窗口了。
如果3012通过了，就不会出现这种前进再后退的情况了。
