I have seen people posting why IV does not get behind any legislation that
is aimed towards high skilled immigrants. The answer is simple , not all
legislation introduced will see voting floor and rather than working on
multiple legislation, IV works hard on legislation that have good chance to
get through congress.HR 3012 is the most promising one at this time and as
such we all should concentrate to get it through as it has the blessing of
Rep. Lamar Smith.
This post is generic in nature. I have highlighted certain lines in red to
make people aware how things move in congress . What hurdles immigration
issues have faced and how much ground work IV has done . Law makers have now
stepped up to work on issues that are very important to high skilled
immigrants.
Please lend your full support to HR3012 . I am confident that we can
accomplish rest in a phased manner by supporting IV by volunteering,
donating and working for rather than against IV objectives as united EB
immigrants rather than EB-I/C/ROW or EB -2/EB3. I want to end with a single
line I learnt in school:
United we stand , divided we fall. It is time to be united and build the
momentum to get through this long endless mess. |
