发帖数: 410 | 1 I'm a H1-B holder, I140 has been approved for 1.5 years. Just got laid off.
HR suggested me to go to the goverment and get unemployment benefit. I'm the
only non-citizen employee in the company, I guess the HR doesn't know
whether I'm eligible to get unemployment benefit. But if I'm eligible, it
would be a very good thing. Does anybody know? Has anybody had the similiar
experience? Thanks a lot!
BTW, HR said they were not going to let USCIS know that I'm laid off as this
was due to company restrucuring and they will try their best to help me. | y**********r
