LD的PD是08年8月，I-140是09年初批准的。现在情况是如果跳槽，公司如果drop绿卡的
话，那么加入新公司后需要一切重来么？原来的PD能够re-link么？
还有，如果能够relink, 到明年夏天current可以交485的时候，新的perm还没有批下来
，还没做re-link,怎么办？是不是就完全失去用原来PD的机会了？只能重新用新的PD重
新排期？

如果要保留PD,最好现在能拿到140的批件的复印件.在新办140的时候附上并要求PORT
PD.
公司可以REVOKE 140,但是你仍然可以KEEP PD,除非REVOKE的原因是FAKE. |

Me: my wife's green card priority date is Aug, 2008, her I-140 got
approved on Jan, 2009. now if she change to a new job, can her employer
withdraw her green card? in case her employer withdraw her green card, can
she still re-link the Priority date after she changed to new employer?
Lawyer: unless she has filed I-485 for more than 6 months, her employer can
withdraw her I-485. thank you.
Me: Thanks a lot for reply. But she has not yet fill 485, her PD is only aug
2008, can she still use this date in her new GC application or she has to
start from scratch in the case her current employer withdraw her GC process?

Me: so what option she has left now for not starting from the scratch? she
really has to change employer.

You will keep your PD after your 140 approval, period. There are tons of
discussion at various forums.

Determining the Priority Date.
In general, if a petition is supported by an individual labor certification
issued by DOL, the priority date is the earliest date upon which the labor
certification application was filed with DOL. In those cases where the
alien’s priority date is established by the filing of the labor
certification, once the alien’s Form I-140 petition has been approved, the
alien beneficiary retains his or her priority date as established by the
filing of the labor certification for any future Form I-140 petitions,
unless the previously approved Form I-140 petition has been revoked because
of fraud or willful misrepresentation. This includes cases where a change of
employer has occurred; however, the new employer must obtain a new labor
certification if the classification requested requires a labor certification
(see the section on successorship of interest).

朋友140批了，但没过一年，换公司后，被前公司drop case,然后新的申请就全部重新来过，原来
的PD也不能用了。

As for your friend, who says he can't use his original PD? His lawyer? Did
he submit the request to relink the previous PD and get denied by USCIS? or
he simply believe he can't relink the old PD? You ask for proof, we give
