发帖数: 34 | 1 Just called USCIS, got transfered to a 2nd tier officier. I was told that
the case has been assigned to an IO officier and being reviewed. The rep
cannot get any other information at this moment because the file has been
assigned out. She also told me that since there are so many current cases
this month, it could take the officier 2 months to finish the review.
At this moment, I don't plan to do anything yet except for waiting, unless
someone has a better suggestion. - Just want to share the info with you.

发帖数: 34 | 9 Just ask for it, politely. You can say that you want to check whether the
background check is cleared, or, you heard that the online system is down
and you would like more information than what is showing online, or, you
want to check whether there is any RFE potentially that you are not aware of
. I got to the 2nd tier officier with the 1st try, whole call took me about
10 minutes.

The problem is that NSC does not update online status or email anymore,
which means at least several days waiting.
