经历曲折，磨难无数，一言难进。
特此感谢DDUUNO,我们难兄难弟，同病相怜；十来天中，互通电话，交流消息，彼此鼓励。终于共同脱离苦海。
6/6 opened SR, 和DDUUNO一样，13号收到了那个著名的background check的SR回复。开始几天没action，因为律师说不要动。后来给congressman发了信，很快有了回复，不冷不热的说background check没有clearance. 要等30天。我靠!还得郁闷30天？21号给senator发了fax，因为不放心，今天上午（6/23）有专程跑了senator办公室，负责我们case的小美女，虽不老道，但非常认真。我们把情况叙述一遍，问她要了email、电话。她说昨天（22号）已经发函去淫民局，说2、3天内应该收到回复，然后一定followup. 本打算和USCIS还有几个回合的周折，没想到晚上就收到了传说中的CPO! Obviously the senator's inquiry made the difference!
有冤情的同学一定要上访!!!!!!!
几条经验，与后面的绿潮中同学分享：
* current前两个星期，不要催绿
* SR没有任何作用，闹不好，还是个雷
* 如果call 2nd tier问不到其他情况, 可以问你的case是不是已经pre-adjudicated, 他们好像愿意回答这个。如果是pre-adjudicated, 你可以稍微放心下来。
* 两个星期后没有绿，直接找senator, congressman的力量明好像没有senator大
* 用这个link http://www.contactingthecongress.org/ 可以找到你选区的congressman，senator和他们的官网，然后查找他们提供给constiuent的assistance,下载privacy release form
* 找congressman只能是住址选区的，其他不会帮你。senator,每州都是2个。可以随便找，找congressman/senator做federal agency assistance 跟他们党派，政见无关。
* 填好privacy release form后与你的冤情信一同fax给他们。要电话followup to make sure他们收到了你的fax.
* 负责你案子的人叫caseworker. immgration是他们接待最多的案例。
* 如果案子特殊，可以直接去senator办公室找。

发帖数: 285 | 25 I never did infopass before. So I can't be 100% sure if they would do it.
However, from other people's experience, local officers have that info too.
It's depend on individual officer. If you feel he/she is easy going, then go
ahead ask him/her. I think you will likely get that in most time. Good luck!
