My husband (dependent of the NIW petition) submitted his I-485 and I-765 in
August, 2007. We paid the application fees for both application. I-485 was
$395 and I-765 was $180. He renewed twice after that and paid $340 each
time. However, I just noticed that we should not pay for the application
fee from the online instruction of I-765 application.
I just want to make sure that : is it true that we don't have to pay for the
application fee for I-765 application as well as extension? I am very
confused.
If somebody know the answer, would you please help me? Moreover, since the
application has been approved, can we be refunded?

发帖数: 123 | 3 Thanks! I just got clarification from my lawyer. It is because that the
fee increase for I-485 actually happened after Aug 17th, 2007 instead of
July 30th, 2007.
