approval. Now I can legally work for my employer as the I-140 had been
approved. But there's a big problem now: the state I live reuired a vaild H1
-B showing the new expiration date so that they can renew my driver license.
Has anybody had this experience? How to handle it?
I don't know how long it will take for the H1-B extension to be approved. It
's very risky to use an expired driver license. Thank! |

Let your institute provides the information about your H1 extension and
maybe DMV will give you a temp driving licence during the waiting time. I
know it works in NC.

the old one till your H1-B approval. |

you know it takes a few months for H1-B to be approved. If the receipt
notice is enought, it will be great. Thaks. |

发帖数: 480 | 8 The DL office in my state also accepts EAD or AP date. But since the dates
on them are usually not as far out as H1B, you may need to get another DL
soon. |
