On May 12th, 2008 there was a 7.9-magnitude earthquake in Sichuan Province,
China. The number of casualties is almost 20,000 today and still rising.
More than 30,000 people were trapped under debris, including many school
children, elderly and women. Hundreds of thousands of people have lost their
homes and are now in need of basic supplies. For more news please check the
