Dr. Florin Rusu has immediate funded Ph.D. positions available in the School
of Engineering at University of California, Merced. Dr. Rusu focuses his
research on databases with a special emphasis on large scale data management
. He is interested both in algorithmic problems (approximation and
randomized algorithms) as well as in system design issues having
