This course will introduce students to various concepts and techniques that
have been demonstrated to improve quality of Information Systems (IS). The
topics in the course will be based on current best practices in IS
development, with core topics to include: Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and
SPICE, ISO9000-3, EUROMETHOD, testing and configuration management. The course
will include examples of how such concepts and techniques are used in firms in
different industries。
