Maybe you can try developer 2000.
Actually most people just use SQL*PLUS. It is quite powerful.

I meant the server in school where I have an account
to do class assignments :)
yeah, I just need sql*plus, what parts should I install? I dled
oracle8i personal edition for win98 from oracle's site.

How long it took you to dl it? I tried it a few days ago from my lab
at around 9pm and the speed is only 4kbps.
Is there any file bigger than 100mb after you unzip it? I can only use
some zip100 disks to move it home.

发帖数: 41 | 5 I left it to dl overnight :) but the speed wasn't
as low as yours, about 10kBps, I think.
you can use winrar to divide the big file into several
smaller files and then take it home, then copy them
to HD and run winrar to get the big file back.

around 40kbps. Seems weekend night is a good time to dl big stuff:-))
