次Tour de Cure他选择了37 mile option，结果返回的时候心胀病发，当时有个医生骑
在他后面，给他做了紧急CPR，但是送到医院的时候为时已晚。。。
大家训练的时候也要科学，不要太push limit，还有每年要做身体检查。

这个周日，我所在的俱乐部也有位大哥脑出血突然去世了。周六晚上他还带着他的两个
女儿参加了俱乐部的training session。。。生命无常，希望大家珍惜拥有。

with friends against my medical advice. I told him he was not in that shape
any more, but he would not listen. he suffered a major heart attack during
the ride and had urgent open heart surgery in a local hospital then
transported home hospital by helicopter.
in this case, although I do feel very bad for what happened, but the fact
that he lost both legs from DM indicated his diabetes was poorly controlled,
and he had very high risk of cardiac event. |

ride in 3 years. I think people are aware of the risk, but they made their
own choice. I am not to mean it's brave. What We can do is keep riding and
stay health to avoid that day to come.

发帖数: 2009 | 14 我发现有些运动量很大的人总觉得自己不需要控制饮食，吃多了加大运动量就行了。其
实随着年龄的增长，运动总量在变小，新陈代谢在变慢，而且在本来运动量就很大的基
础上，再增加的那些很难抵消多吃的部分。饮食结构的不合理也是无法用运动来补偿的
。所以这样的想法其实是很致命的。我的一个非常爱运动的朋友30岁刚出头就把胆给切
了，我觉得跟他喜欢胡吃海喝是很有关系的。

发帖数: 2763 | 15 i agree, people have different perspectives. from a health care provider's
perspective, of course i want the patient with high risk to stay away from
the sports that can potentially hurt him, but ultimately it's his choice.
there are a lot other ways to stay healthy, cycling is just part of it. life
is precious, we only live once. i don't think this patient was anticipating
he would have a fatal heart attack during tour de cure, it's different from
those young kids who are doing cliff climbing.
