i*********5 发帖数: 19210 | 2 Big George is on the cover! I was on the road side leading up to Pla d'Adet
the day Hincapie won his first TdF stage ever. |

Any story to share? |
i*********5 发帖数: 19210 | 4 hehe... it was my honeymoon. i squeezed two stages into it, pla d'adet and
champs-elysee. you really have to be there to feel it. it's surreal!
especially the mountain stage with mountain top finish. the road leading up
to pla d'adet was filled with one million spectators!!! |
O****e 发帖数: 3290 | 5 How sweeter can you get like that! How difficult it is to get to the road
side before the stage? |
i*********5 发帖数: 19210 | 6 good question! well, it's very difficult!
first, all hotels within 100km of the finishing town were fully booked a
year ago by all the bike tour companies. nothing left for us.
second, in europe, it's very hard to rent an automatic car, only stick shift
available, especially in the southern provinces. so, i had to learn how to
drive a stick shift first. luckily a friend of mine was a driving instructor
before, and she owns a stick shift car. she taught me how to drive a stick
shift in an hour. a

after only 2 hours of learning and practice, you are the man. 这也是铁人老弟
以后在儿女面前吹上两句的好素材啊!呵呵,a lifetime memory indeed it is. |
