the trainer is scratched up while in storage but otherwise unused. the
reason he got them so cheap is because some units had squished metal tracks-
-those pink/red ones in photo--that he had to fix.
so there's certainly some risk involved. you can buy through ebay which
offer some protection in case of damaged good. the guy's ebay ac |

functionally, they are all the same. call him. i bet he's willing to set up
an auction for you so both parties get feedback.
i'd sell you mine but shipping would be a killer. rollers are much simpler
than trainers. i doubt you'll notice a ride difference between the $100 and
$300.

Kinetic fluid trainer now with a pseudo power computer on it, but it was no
where a good deal as this one. |

看到帖子后，我马上查了一下这个trainer在roadbikereview上的评价：

觉得原理很简单，有点机械上mechanical的问题也许自己能解决。所以在EBAY上下单买
入！
昨天才收到，trainer看起来有点外伤，是预料之中的，机械结构看起来不错，没有任
何说明，对照官网介绍很容易架起来。
可是。。。放上车子一试。。。 那些评价说到的问题马上来了。
刚开始还好，轮胎带动trainer平滑转动，可是很快，阻力巨增，几乎踩不动，闻到橡
胶味道。下来一看，地上有磨下的胎皮，研究了一下，似乎找到原因，照了几张照片，
看有没有其他买入的同好，帮忙看一下！ |

真的很简单：
１）轮胎带动trainer转子转动
２）转子内有滚珠，转动后产生横向力，推动挤压临近的“摩擦左盘”水平向右移动
３）“摩擦左盘”推向右边的“摩擦右盘”，相互挤压，产生阻力。
就这样了。只要３个盘子横向水平能自由移动，纵向能保持竖直，因该没什么问题。
这也是当初买它的原因。
可是，问题就出在竖直方向。我再贴图。 |

问题出现在摩擦右盘和固定支架之间。摩擦盘和支架间有个小的washer似的零件。
它一边是圆的，贴着摩擦盘。
另一边是差不多方的，嵌入支架上形状一样的凹陷。
刚开始转动时，一些正常，摩擦盘推过来，压着washer，顶着支架，如下： |

从下图可以看到，它已经开始脱离支架上的凹陷！ |

结果就是摩擦右盘在竖直方向不再真正竖直，而是有倾斜。
这样，它和左边挤过来的磨擦左盘不能完美接触。
严重时候歪着抵到一起：|\|, 在水平方向相互抵死，产生很大阻力， 如图所示。 |

你们的摩差盘子也是那么固定的吗？ 盘子可以在轴上wobble吗？
这个是被ＥＢＡＹ卖家修过的，比如盘子的塑料套子被拿掉了。

knob. Maybe it is still not low enough. I will try it again tonight.

dust shield out but forgot to replace the screw.
here's the assembly on that end from the factory. there's a long m8 screw (
red) that goes through the plastic shield (green, which i don't think you
have), through the framing (black), through that "washer似的零件" (blue, the
friction plate, pink, fits on the round end) then threads into the axle (
hidden). without this screw holding everything together of course the

Wow. I cannot thank you enough for this! You are absolutly right on this!!
I took a look from the end and you know what - there is an empty hole there
with no screw at all.
I will follow your suggestion and get a regular bolt from hardware store. I
am so anxious for tomorrow to buy the bolt.
I am new to cycling. I thouroughly enjoy such a friendly community.

fantastic. Do you have the actual manual weather? The manual download
section of blackburn website has only one PDF manual, for a damn floor pump?

如果你不说，我还发现不了这个问题。不但如此，前些天还自鸣得意：看这个trainer
，还能模拟上坡下坡时踏板压力的频繁变化呢。
问题：用了trainer后，现在我的轮胎上有一些磨起来的...就象洗澡时从身上搓下来的
咚咚(yuk)，正常吗？
