我是从麻州过康州到纽约, 想开车到康州, 再换地铁..
据说从康州到纽约的I-95特堵, 所以想坐地铁快点..
请问在康州哪里的地铁站停车方便? 价钱如何?
看 MTA Metro-North Railroad 的地铁站 Bridgeport, CT
有Express 的班次, 但就是不知道星期三一早(7-8点)有没有
停车位? 谁有经验在那附近停过车?
还有谁最近换过护照? 可加急当天取?
住在 Worcester, MA, 坐 Boston Chinatown Bus 很不方便...
但又不想把车开到纽约, 因在纽约市内停车特贵...

发帖数: 2294 | 3 现在换护照不可以当天取.在BRIDGEPORT停车很方便,在95的27号出口下,红绿灯左转.然
后第一个红绿灯再左转.直走,过一个红绿灯后在你的右手边就是MTA停车场,进去时拿个
TICKET,停一天$6.
如果是从8号路过来,一号出口下,直走,过高速公路后左转,过三个红绿灯后就是停车场.
上下班时在95上还是塞车蛮厉害的.关键是开了那么久再老是停停走走,很容易出事... |

milford就在new haven往南一点，挺安全的一个town。bridgeport我听说治安不怎么好
。我周末去纽约就准备开车到milford然后坐火车到grand central。

发帖数: 2294 | 8 i really couldn't get it. why from SWS goes to Milford from Bridgeport for
taking the train. the round trip tickets has about $2 difference, plus the
gas, car, and the time you wasted (two round trip from bridgeport to milford
, one by car, one by train).
the parking in bridgeport is only $6...
all of the train on weekend will be local service only, it takes more time
then weekday's express.
also LZ is talking about taking the train during weekday. in bridgeport,
they can take express... |

that's why i couldn't get it. you live in bpt, you'll try to drive to
milford then... didn't make any sense.
To AnF, I'm taking the train at bpt train station everyday. I always can
find out a seat. No matter whether it's one express train or local train...

i quoted the sentence in w10's post.
for me,i never think it is a good idea to take trains to new york on
weekends if one has a car.
waiting in train station for more than 30 minutes always drives me nuts.
considering metro-north weekend schedule, it is very easy to miss a train.

can always find out parking space on riverside dr. (along riverside park)
if in south manhattan, it's kind of tough, but you always can find our some
parking space a little bit far from china town. you need to walk a little
bit.

其它地方都野...有些东西是无法用钱来衡量的...
