About the job:
Develop and deliver production quality Java software in a complex production
environment
Develop novel features, reports and easy-to-use user interfaces in an agile
product development environment
Implement software to meet security, performance, scalability, reliability,
and maintainability requirements
Collaborate with the team to meet product milestones on time with high
quality production software
About your skills:
BS/MS in Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and
experience
5+ years Java development experience including Multithreading, Collections,
and Memory Management
Experience designing and implementing world class APIs
REST based API experience
Proficient in OO and Functional Design Principles and design patterns
Experience with SQL and ORM frameworks
Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL, and messaging tools such as ActiveMQ and
RabbitMQ
Proficiency in applicable software development tools, standards, and
methodologies
Highly effective analytical, decision-making, and written/verbal
communication skills
Bonus points for experience with Polyglot, Javascript, Scala, Go, etc.,
search technologies Lucene and Elasticsearch, git, agile development process
, concurrent programming, AWS, Vagrant, Chef, or Puppet
