-furnishings retailer Ikea says it expects to open it in the fall of 2011.
Centennial-based Saunders Construction is expected to break ground in the
next few months on the 415,000-square-foot store west of Interstate 25,
south of East Dry Creek Road and north of East County Line Road near Park
Meadows, Ikea spokesman Joseph Roth said.
"It's a very complicated undertaking, and we had to go through a lot of
detailed planning," Roth said. "The real-estate transaction had to close,
but we had to have all the agreements in place first."
The Swedish retailer has garnered an avid following among customers who like
its modern, inexpensive furniture
