发帖数: 6 | 7 American basin is a hidden gem in San Juan Mountain at the SW of Colorado.
It is along the alpine loop, arguably the most beautiful back country road
in Colorado. If you start from Lake City, most passenger cars can make it.
But if you want to go further into the alpine loop, you need an off road
capable SUV or truck (1. high ground clearance, 2, low gear).
