发帖数: 1432 | 5 I still do most training in the pool, pure flat water. Sweep and c2c rolls
are stable and strong now. And I can barely make the boat vertical. I heard
there was a kayak play boating competition last week at clear creek, but
didn't go.
It would be very interesting to check out the clear creek in the summer with
kayak. Looks there are lots of holes and eddies to play with.
Just need the water to warm up. Notice those guys in the pictures all wear wet suits,
some even with gloves. Late June or earl |

putting on the effort then getting washed down like in picture 6. |

发帖数: 1432 | 11 Right after a water drop, there is usually a hole. The water is almost
motionless within the hole. With good balance control, which means applying
correct edges just as we ski/board, a kayak can stay in the hole with very
little effort. A skilled kayaker even doesn't need the paddle to keep the
boat in place. However, to get into the hole is hard. It's kind of racing
upstream. If one can't manage to the hole, he's just flashed away. |

the hole for a few seconds. Looks like fun but much more scary than ski/
board since they get turned over a lot. |
